About Edenvale

Located in the East Rand, Edenvale is part of Modderfontein. Known for its tranquil ambiance, the town has a rich history and is sought after due to its location between O.R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, Sandton and Midrand.

Edenvale came into being around the same time as the Rietforntein Mines. Initially the settlement was known as Rietfontein. In the 1900's, Cornish mine workers moved into the area and it was renamed Edenvale.

Its location along major freeways makes it convenient for business travelers to access major business parks in Johannesburg.
